What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 99 and Telge Rd in Harris County, TX on August 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. A Dodge Charger operated by 28-year-old Collin Roy Story was, according to witnesses, traveling at a high rate of speed when it steered right and collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. It also struck a Toyota Rav 4 in an adjacent lane. Story was seriously injured and charged with Failure to Control Speed. The other drivers involved were not injured.
