Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at Wise Rd and McCall Rd in Jefferson County, TX on December 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:46 a.m. According to investigators, a Kia Optima was traveling southbound on Wise Rd, nearing the McCall Rd intersection. For unconfirmed reasons, authorities say the vehicle left the roadway, traveling straight a curve and over a culvert. From there, police say the vehicle struck a mailbox located near a private residence before overrunning into a second silver. The driver, identified as 20-year-old Colton Duhon, was seriously injured, according to police. Police allege suspicion of possible alcohol involvement and had no additional information to share.
