Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-35 and Hockley Creek Rd in Valley View, TX on May 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:02 a.m. An SUV operated by 73-year-old Angela Winn was reportedly disabled in a middle travel lane of northbound 35 when it was struck by another vehicle operated b 30-year-old Cortney Smartt. Winn and Smartt's passenger, 19-year-old Daesha Johnson were both hospitalized with serious injuries. Smartt suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
