Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at North Unitec Dr in Laredo, TX on July 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:14 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 62-year-old Carlsbad, NM man failed to control its speed and collided with a Chevrolet Impala slowing to make a turn. The driver of the Impala, 31-year-old Cristina Guerrero, suffered minor injuries. The truck driver was not injured and was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed.
