What Happened

Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at  US 90 in Harris County, TX on March 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened as a tractor-trailer was reportedly suffering serious injuries near a northbound entrance ramp. The truck stopped partially on a right shoulder as a Chevrolet Impala operated by Crystal Gaona approached. Thew Impala is said to have collided with the rear of the trailer and Gaona suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The other driver, Joseph Maxie, remained at the scene and police say did not display signs of intoxication.
