What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured two people at State Hwy 70 in Nolan County, TX on July 24th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:32 p.m. A Toyota Yaris operated by 47-year-old Cynthia Ann Ramirez reportedly made a sudden steering motion to the left while headed southbound. The vehicle then veered across northbound traffic into a guardrail, causing serious injuries the Ramirez. An 11-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. Police say an 18-pack of beer was found in the vehicle and issued a DWI w/Child Passenger charge.
