Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at Hwy 14 in Hamilton County, NE on November 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. Officials say a semi-truck headed southbound on Hwy 14 is alleged to have crossed a center line before colliding with a northbound Dodge pickup truck. Officials say the driver of the pickup truck, identified as 42-year-old Nathan Omel, was fatally injured. A rear seat passenger, identified as 66-year-old Cynthia Omel, was fatally injured.
