What Happened

Plano Police have information on a multi-vehicle crash that injured several people at Park Blvd in Plano, TX on January 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:07 p.m. According to investigators, an Acura headed eastbound on Park is said to have run a red light at the intersection with Custer Rd, colliding with a northbound Honda Accord. The impact pushed both vehicles into westbound lanes where they struck a Hyundai Santa Fe, Lexus SUV and Toyota Sienna. Two people in the Hyundai, 41-year-old Daisy Ward and 43-year-old Tilman Ward, both were injured. The Honda driver, 26-year-old Sai Cherukupally, was evaluated for possible injuries. Officers allege suspicion that the driver of the Acura was under the influence at the time of the crash. Additional information was not available.
