What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at State Hwy 107 and Sun Flower Rd in San Carlos, TX on October 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:48 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Grand Cherokee headed eastbound before allegedly failing to yield during a left turn and colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado headed westbound. The driver of the Jeep, identified as 50-year-old Daniel Luna, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. A passenger in the Jeep was hospitalized with serious injuries while a second passenger suffered minor injuries. The other driver and their passenger were not hospitalized.
