Authorities are investigating a crash that injured several people at State Hwy 107 in McAllen, TX on July 28th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Avenger headed westbound before allegedly failing to control its speed and colliding with the rear of a Honda Accord stopped at a nearby red light. Authorities say the driver of the Honda, identified as 31-year-old Daniel Ocanas, was seriously injured. A 31-year-old passenger, who was not publicly identified, was also seriously injured, reports say. The driver of the Dodge, also not publicly identified, allegedly had minor injuries and was charged with Intoxication Assault. Additional information was not available
