Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at US 290 in Kimble County, TX on February 21st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:25 a.m. According to initial investigation, a motorcycle operated by 30-year-old Daniel Rouse was traveling eastbound on US 290 when it came into contact and collided with a deer in the roadway. It then list control, ejecting Rouse from the vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Police allege suspicion that alcohol may have played a factor in the crash.
