Officials are saying the incident happened around 10:29 a.m. According to investigators, a vehicle was found by authorities after having left the road and crossing into a tree. The vehicle caught fire, reports say, a front seat passenger suffering fatal injuries. Reports identified the victim as Daniella Vasquez. The driver, allegedly identified as Hector Acevedo, was allegedly not found at the scene by authorities when they arrived. Reports say witnesses assisted Acevedo at the crash site and say Acevedo was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
