What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Overbrook Ln in Houston, TX on April 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:50 p.m. According to initial investigation, a motorcycle traveling at an alleged high rate of speed headed westbound on Overbrook Lane lost control for unknown reasons and overturned. An approaching Mitsubishi Lancer then struck the motorcyclist, identified as Darius Brown, who suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of the Lancer reportedly did not show signs of intoxication, was questioned and released.
