What Happened

Authorities in Dallas, TX, are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on March 1, 2025, at approximately 11:47 p.m. on State Loop 12. Investigators are saying a Cadillac Escalade was traveling west when it struck a 22-year-old pedestrian who was allegedly in or near the roadway. The pedestrian, identified as Davarian Collins,  sustained fatal injuries. The 47-year-old drover and 41-year-old passenger in the Escalade were allegedly uninjured. A third, unidentified vehicle may have also been involved and fled the scene. No charges have been filed. Police did not have additional information available.
