State Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision that killed a man at Independence Blvd in Missouri City, TX on January 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. According to investigators, 62-year-old Dave Battiste Jr was killed when he was struck by a vehicle. Officers continue that Battiste was exiting a convince store and wheelchair-bound and the vehicle that struck Battiste fled the scene after impact. Battiste suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
