What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Tahitian Dr and Kaanapali Dr in Bastrop County, TX on August 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:27 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 26-year-old Pflugerville man was headed eastbound on Kaanapali Ln when it failed to yield at a stop intersection with Tahitian Dr. It collided with the right side of Ford Ranger operated by 64-year-old David Earl, leaving Bigham with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported and reports indicate a Failure to Yield Row charge was recommended and/or issued.
