What Happened

Arlington Police have information on a crash that injured a motorcyclist at Cooper St in Arlington, TX on July 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:05 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by 57-year-old David Echols was northbound on Cooper St at the time. Officers believe the vehicle entered into a turn lane and, during an eastbound turn onto the I-30 frontage road, lost control and collided with a guardrail on the north side of the road. The impact is believed to have caused Echols to be ejected from the bike, suffering suspected serious injuries as a result. No other injuries were reported.
