What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Green Valley Circle in Denton County, TX on March 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:50 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda motorcycle operated by 51-year-old David Erwin was headed southbound on a hill, approaching Warschun Rd. They say the vehicle was approaching a Ford Maverick and began braking before colliding the the rear portion of the truck. The impact caused Erwin to be thrown from the bike, causing serious injuries. Erwin was taken to an area hospital and died from his injuries several days later. The other driver involved, a 31-year-old Chico man, was uninjured, according to investigators.
