What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-10 in Kendall County, TX on June 23rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:08 a.m. A Ford F-150 operated by 29-year-old David Ginez was headed eastbound when it lost control at a curve. It then went into a center median before traveling into an embankment and going airborne before striking a west embankment. Ginez suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Responding officers noted that there was allegedly a strong alcohol odor present in the vehicle when they arrived.
