What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-10 in Harris County, TX on February 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:15 p.m. Investigators say a commercial truck operated by 47-year-old Kirk Wade Hatterman was headed westbound when it collided with the rear of a 55-year-old Toyota Highlander operated by 55-year-old David Glynn Pever. The impact caused the Toyota to collide with a Ford F-250 ahead of it and the Ford to strike a BMC. Pever was the only driver injured, reporting minor injuries. Hatterman was issued a Failure to Control Speed charge. Additional information was not available.
