What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash involved at least three vehicles at State Loop 323 in Tyler, TX on September 7th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:47 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger is said to have lost control before colliding with a southbound Dodge Charger. Following the initial collision, reports say the Dodge collided with a Ford Escape before striking a curb and overturning. Police say a 19-year-old in the Ford was seriously injured. Several occupants including Celeste Ramsey, had possible, unconfirmed injuries. The driver of the Jeep, identified as 40-year-old David Jackson, also had possible, unconfirmed injuries. The driver of the Dodge, who was not publicly identified also had possible, unconfirmed injuries and sources allege that driver was charged with Driving on Wrong Sire of Roadway and Intoxication Assault.
