Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 409 in Fannin County, TX on April 3rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12 a.m. Investigators believe a Toyota Camry operated by 26-year-old David Kaiser was headed eastbound on FM 409 along a curve in the road. The vehicle is said to have veered from the roadway for unknown reasons before traveling into a south ditch. It first struck a wired fence before hitting a tree and rolling onto its side and catching fire. The crash left Kaiser with fatal injuries at the scene.
