What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 2221 and Brushline Rd in Weslaco, TX on July 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m.  According to investigators, a Chrysler 300 is said to have collided with a motorcycle before the Chrysler fled the scene. The motorcyclist, identified as 25-year-old David Lee Reyes, was taken to an area hospital with injuries that he later died from. Authorities continue to search for the driver.
