Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at County Road 200 in Brady, TX on February 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:26 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Titan operated by 29-year-old David Valdez was reportedly involved in a minor accident at a commercial lot before leaving the scene. Police say they attempted to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle which allegedly attempted to avoid officers by traveling southbound on County Rd 200 around 60 mph. The vehicle veered from the road into a barrier before going into a skid and overturn, causing Valdez serious injuries. Officers allege multiple signs of intoxication and/or alcohol use were suspected at the scene.
