Police say the incident happened around 8:08 a.m. Investigators say a Mazda 5 was southbound before allegedly failing to control their speed before colliding with a Dodge Ram 2500 towing a truck. Reports indicate the driver of the Dodge, identified as 37-year-old Davy Essary II, was seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and allegedly had minor injuries.
