What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision the injured a driver at State Hwy 8 in Harris County, TX on July 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:05 a.m. A Chevrolet Silverado C1500 operated by 51-year-old Deanna Louise Sebren was reportedly traveling at an unsafe speed when it lost control and veered into a center divider. From there it struck a metal light pole and slid into the barrier wall, the cab of the truck and engine becoming detached from the vehicle. Sebren suffered serious injuries and was issued a charge of Driving at Unsafe Speed.
