What Happened

Authorities are investigating a collision that injured a pedestrian at Dallas North Tollway in Dallas, TX on September 15th, 2024. Officials say the incident happend around 9:31 p.m. According to investigators, a BMW 430i was southbound on the Tollway, approaching a disabled vehicle involved in a previous crash. Officials say while veering right to avoid a collision, the BMW entered into a shoulder where it collided with the driver of the disabled vehicle. That driver, identified as 27-year-old Deandre Spann, was seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and was allegedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
