What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Ten Mile Bridge Rd in Fort Worth, TX on September 24th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. A Dodge Caliber operated by 61-year-old Raymond Lee Garrett was headed westbound on Ten Mile Bridge Rd while a Kia Sorento operated by 34-year-old Frances Nicole Proctor was headed eastbound. At some point, the Dodge is said to have crossed over into eastbound lanes, colliding with the Kia. Proctor and her 62-year-old passenger, Debbie Vanover, suffered minor injuries. A 44-year-old male passenger in the Dodge also suffered minor injuries. Garrett, who was seriously injured, was charged with DWI.
