Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at FM 400 in Hale County, TX on June 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:03 p.m. According to investigators, a vehicle operated by 49-year-old Debora Ann Beck was slowing to make a left turn as a pickup truck behind the vehicle attempted to pass it. Police say the vehicles ended up colliding, causing Beck's vehicle to strike a nearby culvert. Beck was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from. The other driver, a 16-year-old Plainview driver, was allegedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
