What Happened

Authorities have information on a multi-vehicle crash at Trail Lake Dr in Fort Worth, TX on January 31st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:19 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra was allegedly reported stolen and headed eastbound on the I-20 service road while being pursed by police. The vehicle is said to have attempted to force its way through traffic, striking the rear of a Ford Fusion and continuing until striking a Toyota Camry. The vehicle is accused of running a red light before striking a southbound Nissan Rogue. Following the last collision, which caused the Ford to overturn, the occupants of the Hyundai are alleged to have fled the scene. Reports indicate the drivers of the first three vehicles were uninjured. The driver of the Fusion, identified as 35-year-old Deisy Joahana Jaime Navarro, was allegedly seriously injured.  Additional information was not available.
