Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at Dee Gabriel Collins Rd in Travis County, TX on September 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:44 a.m. According to investigators, a Mazda 6 operated by a 32-year-old Austin man was headed northbound on Dee Gabriel Collins Rd as it came upon a curve in the road. The vehicle veered from its lane at the curve into a guardrail, the impact causing serious injuries to a passenger, identified as 27-year-old Delores Pedraza. The driver was not injured and officers recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
