Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Franz Rd in Harris County, TX on December 3rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:05 p.m. Investigators say a motorcycle operated by 23-year-old Demeterius Bennett was headed eastbound on Franz Rd through Arrow Star Dr intersection. Traveling westbound on Franz and turning southbound on Arrow was a Nissan Pathfinder, police say. Reports allege the Nissan failed to yield during its turn, leading to the motorcycle colliding with the Nissan. The collision caused Bennett serious injuries. Reports say he was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. The occupants of the Nissan were uninjured, according to police. Additional information was not available.
