Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 288 in Brazoria County, TX on June 1st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:22 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 33-year-old Houston man was southbound on Hwy 288 when  it collided with a Ford Crown Victoria in a constriction zone. Police say the vehicle had active police lights on a personal vehicle. The impact pushed the vehicle in traffic crash truck before the truck hit a concrete barrier. The crash left the Ford operator, identified as 30-year-old Demetrius Devon Jacobs, with serious injuries. The Houston man was evaluated for possible injuries.
