What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 105 and Hearthside Dr in Orange, TX on July 31st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. A Chevrolet C1500 operated by 50-year-old Denny Jannise was headed eastbound on FM 105 when it lost control at a curve in the road. It then veered from the road and struck a concrete culvert, sending the vehicle airborne. It then overturned and landed in a ditch. Jannise suffered serious injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
