What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 90 in Harris County, TX on February 13th, 2022. Officials say the accident was reportedly around 7 a.m., however, they were not able to confirm when the accident happened. They believe a Chevrolet S10 operated by 34-year-old Derrell Moreaux Jr was headed eastbound in an inside lane of Hwy 90 when it veered from the road at a curve. It then lost control while attempting to re-enter the road before overturning and ejecting Moreaux from the vehicle. Moreaux, who investigators allege may have been under the influence of alcohol, suffered fatal injuries.
