What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 259 in Upshur County, TX on May 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:05 p.m. According to investigators, a Buick Lacrosse operated by a 41-year-old Henderson woman was headed northbound on US 259 as a Kia operated by 32-year-old Desiree Moyer was headed southbound attempting to turn eastbound on Hwy 154. The vehicles collided during the turn, leaving Moyer and 3 child passengers, with serious injuries. The Henderson woman was evaluated for possible injuries and charged with intoxication assault.
