What Happened

Officials are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at I-20 in Arlington, TX on September 25th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:09 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Challenger headed eastbound on I-20 is said to have veered left in an effort to avoid a disabled vehicle, striking an occupant from that vehicle who was nearby. The occupant was identified as 28-year-old Destiny Lewis, who was seriously injured, police say. The Dodge is said to have fled the scene following the collision and authorities had no additional inforamtion available.
