Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 380 in Collin County, TX on March 13th, 2022. Police believe the accident happened around 12:43 a.m. According to investigators, a Mini Cooper operated by 24-year-old Devin Anderson was headed westbound on US 380 when it reportedly failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a Dodge Ram stopped behind another vehicle at a red light. The impact caused a fire in the engine of the Mini Cooper and Anderson, who police allege may have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol, suffered fatal injuries.
