Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at CP River Rd in Kerr County, TX on January 16th, 2022. Police say it happened around 9:56 p.m. A Kia Optima operated by 29-year-old Devin Smith was reportedly traveling at an unsafe speed before it veered from the road and crashed through a cable barrier. Investigators say Smith fled the scene and was found after breaking into a nearby home with serious injuries.
