What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 183 in Dallas, TX on June 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:15 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 26-year-old Ricardo Huichapa Noriega was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it turned and collided with a crash attenuator. A passenger in the truck, identified as 27-year-old Diana Escamilla, suffered fatal injuries. The driver was less seriously injured. Officers allege suspicion of alcohol involvement in the crash.
