What Happened

A fatal crash occurred at 2:12 p.m. on August 28th, 2024, on Garland Rd in Dallas, TX, involving a Hyundai Sonata and a Nissan Leaf. According to reports, the Nissan was traveling southeast and entered the intersection with a protected green left-turn arrow, intending to turn onto Easton Rd. The Hyundai, allegedly speeding and disregarding a red light, entered the intersection and collided with the Nissan. The impact caused the Nissan, driven by 39-year-old Diane Bradford, to rotate and crash into a building. Bradford suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. The Hyundai continued into a parking lot, where it came to rest against a curb. That driver, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly seriously injured.  Additional information was not available.
