What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-820 and Beach St in Fort Worth, TX on June 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:51 a.m. A Volkswagen Jetta operated by 29-year-old Dieudonne Rukundo reportedly made an unsafe lane change while attempting to merge onto an exit ramp. The vehicle then crashed into a collapsible barrier and metal guardrail before overturning onto its roof. Rukundo suffered serious in the crash.
