Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at I-35 in Austin, TX on June 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:43 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Fusion operated by a 33-year-old man was headed northbound on the service road before allegedly running a red light at the Cesar Chavez St intersection. Police say upon doing so, the vehicle collided with a Toyota Corolla operated by 33-year-old Dilcia Castillo. Police say a 33-year-old passenger in the vehicle was seriously injured while both Castillo and a passenger in the Ford, 23-year-old Kimberly Arias, had less serious injuries.
