Authorities have information on a crash that killed a pedestrian at 12th St and Rorem Ave in Palacios, TX on March 17th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:42 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado headed northbound on 12th Street before colliding with a pedestrian walking southbound at 12th St. Following the collision, authorities called the Silverado fled the scene without stopping to render aud. Reports say the pedestrian, identified as 50-year-old Dinkar Siyola, was fatally injuries. Sources indicate the driver was located and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter.
