What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 2231 in Stephens County, TX on October 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:23 a.m. A Ford F-250 operated by 30-year-old Donald Martin Jr was traveling southbound on FM 2231 when investigators say the truck veered from the road at a curve. It then rolled over into a ditch, the impact partially ejecting Martin from the vehicle and causing him fatal injuries. Investigators say Martin was allegedly under the influence at the time of the crash.
