Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Hwy 351 in Abilene, TX on February 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6 a.m. According to investigators, 59-year-old Donan Myron Justice was in a wheelchair at an intersection with Hwy 351 when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle. Following the collision, reports allege the vehicle fled the scene, leaving Justice in the roadway where he was next struck by another vehicle. Justice was pronounced dead at the scene. Reports say 37-year-old Robby Hale and 58-year-old John Gonzalez were both arrested in connection with the incident and charged with Accident Involving Death.
