Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-20 in Harrison County, TX on January 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:01 p.m. A Toyota 4Runner operated by 63-year-old Donna Carole Covey was headed westbound on I-20 in a right outside lane before investigators believe the vehicle failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer operated by a 27-year-old Terry, MS man. Covey suffered serious injuries in the collision. The Terry man was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
