Officials believe it happened around 11:59 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra C1500 operated by a 35-year-old San Antonio man was headed westbound behind a Nissan Sentra operated by 57-year-old Donna Marie Perez. It is believed that as the Nissan slowed due to another car ahead slowing to perform a left turn, the GMC collided with the rear of the Nissan. Officials say Perez had suspected serious injuries while the San Antonio man was not injured. No additional details were available.
