Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Alton Blvd in Main Ave in Alton, TX on August 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:47 p.m. A Nissan Frontier operated by a 44-year-old Mission man was headed westbound on North Alton Blvd and made a turn, colliding with a GMC Yukon operated by 37-year-old Dora Elia Cazares. Cazares and a passenger were evaluated for undisclosed injuries. The Mission man was not injured and charged with Intoxication Assault, Expired Registration, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility and No Drivers's License.
