What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at  US 183 near Goliad, TX on January 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:09 a.m. A Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado are said to have nearly collided head-on when the Ford crossed a center line. The Ford went into a skid and overturned, causing fatal injuries to the driver, 58-year-old Douglas Raymond Corrigan. The Silverado driver, 56-year-old Barbara Lynne Hunt was hospitalized in stable condition. Additional information was not immediately available.
